The actors of the RePeTe theatre have raised their status: now they not only open the ceremony, but also host the awards ceremony. And Alena Zaika, the winner of the fifth season in several categories, now helps out at this year’s final.
After a complex multi-stage competitive path, 50 finalists arrived in Moscow for the award ceremony. The winners were selected from among them by an experienced jury: Dmitry Vodennikov, Yana Vagner, Vadim Panov, Nina Dashevskaya, Olga Lishina, chaired by Anna Matveeva.
But the intrigue still needs to be maintained, and that is why the chairman of the competition’s organizing committee, Vladimir Grigoriev, took to the stage with a welcoming speech, thanking the literature teachers who “teach how to take the first steps into the so-called sea of great Russian literature.” He also expressed the hope that “the fire that ignited the competition will continue to burn and inspire creativity.”

The first prize was awarded to the winner of the popular vote held on the GodLiterature.RF portal, Elizaveta Kopylova from Nizhny Novgorod. The story about a girl who is fighting cancer and at the same time maintains a poetic outlook and does not lose hope for happiness, touched the hearts of readers and received as many as 29 percent of votes.
Last year, the contest added several new nominations, which it was decided to keep in the future.
Thus, together with the Guild of Literary Writers, the award is given in the category “Teachers’ Choice”, made by teachers of Russian language and literature: Vladimir Zabornikov, Olga Yashkova, Nadezhda Kolodina, Elena Gorchakova, Marina Volkova, Natalya Danilova and Ksenia Zemskikh.
Nadezhda Kolodina comments on the winner Dmitry Danilov and his story “The Game”: “In those written lines lies the truth of life and philanthropy.”
In the category “Senior Citizens’ Choice!” It is not difficult to guess that the winners of previous seasons of the contest were chosen: Andrei Nikonorov, Maria Safonova, Yulia Volobueva, Vera Krasnobaeva, Ekaterina Shaltayeva, Daria Serova, Galina Shapashnikova, Maria Kolenova, Alena Zaika.
The guys said that the most important thing in their business is “recognition from colleagues and horizontal connections,” and declared Ivan Chimbileev the winner with the story “Date.”

Ivan replied: “Thank you brothers and sisters! And thank you mom!”
But suddenly there was a surprise: the “Senior Students” did not limit themselves to just one winner, but chose four more participants and placed them all in second place:
Polina Masharova; Sofia Simonova; Dmitry Danilov; Polina Mosienko.
As is tradition, the magazine “Yunost” has chosen its four winners, who will not only receive an annual subscription, but will also see their stories in one of the next issues of the oldest “fat one”. Deputy editor-in-chief of Yunost, editor-in-chief of the publishing house Alpina.Proza Tatyana Solovyova, before announcing the names, remarked: “You have already started, now it is important not to give up. A writer is someone who has not given up.”
And the names are as follows:
Anastasia Savostikova; Arina Boyandina; Dmitry Danilov (who, like Alena Zaika last year, apparently decided to collect all the awards this year);
And it is special because every year Tatyana Solovyova reads stories anonymously and every year she chooses the text of this girl.
But the special prizes did not end there: the partners of “Class!”, a Russian clothing manufacturer from Kostroma, also chose their winner: Sofya Postnikova and her story “Thought”. Anna Lebedeva, founder of the brand, presenting the award, noted the warmth and comfort of the text: “This story shows a child’s view of adult cynicism: the sincerity is captivating, and the fact that there is hope at the end is captivating.”

But that’s not all! The presenter announced that there was another special prize, no less important than the main one, and the PR director of Samokat publishing house Polina Yudina came on stage to announce her favourite. Her story will be published in the collection “Samokata”. Or rather, she: the lucky one was Vasilisa Korzhova with the story “Operation Willow: a failed experiment”.
– A remarkable talent: sensitivity to language to convey speech. Not all professional playwrights know how to do this, but you have a gift, – said Polina Yudina and addressed the others: – Keep the inner strength to create and we will support you.
And finally, the most important thing: the names of the six winners of the sixth season of “Class!” The actors of the “RePeTe” theater read excerpts from the winning stories, and the young authors, recognizing their lines, ran to the stage, where the members of the jury were already waiting for them with warm words, because today “emotions are welcome”!

Dmitry Danilov (yes, yes, him again); Polina Smelgina; Sofia Simonova; Dmitry Semenov; Anastasia Polyakova;
And the Grand Prix goes to Daria Baranova.
“It was a magical season!” Yana Wagner summed up.
That’s all. The guys are still waiting for a trip to the A.P. Chekhov Moscow Art Theatre. And everyone else is expected in the seventh season of “Class!”, which will be announced very soon, in October.
