Famous trainers Zapashny brothers became guests of the new episode of TNT’s “The Will Show” (16+). Edgard and Askold talked about why they spent 10 million dollars on their new show, how they feel about the idea of animals in circuses being tortured, and introduced Pavel Volya to their unusual and very clever friend.
The Zapashny brothers reported on a TV show that they spent an impressive amount on their large-scale show, money that went to decorations and a large number of artists. At the same time, they can only show their show in Moscow, because to transfer all the equipment they will have to use a couple of Kirkorov cards.

“The uniqueness of the show lies, first of all, in its huge budget. It is about 10 million dollars. You will see them there. It is a huge set, three performances a day. There are 210 people in our performance. This is a serious company. We are trying to calculate whether we could transfer this show to some other circus in our country. This is physically impossible. We will not fit anywhere. If you work with such a show, then it is just a hockey stadium.”
To transport the equipment, 35 vans will be needed. Plus animals: eight vans and six buses full of people. In short, six Kirkorovs and two Baskovs, something like that,” the trainers boasted.

The guests also answered Volya’s question about their opinion on the view that animals feel bad in circuses and they should be banned.
“In general, this is an unhealthy topic, because a person should have contact with animals, and the circus, like the zoo, is a place that draws people into the world of animals. That is, if we stop contact with animals, then first of all, in principle, we will not be interested in what happens to them. And this is a big mistake when people think that they supposedly live somewhere there and everything is fine with them. Animals simply survive there. Therefore, it is necessary to know everything about animals. In the zoo they just watch them, but in the circus they interact with animals,” Askold Zapashny is sure.
But his brother had a different, tougher argument. According to Edgar, anyone who has a pet is a trainer. In India, however, elephants are considered pets.

“My friends, look at you, you are all trainers. Think about what I said. If we demonize the word training, you must first let it go for yourself, because having any pet is still the use of training elements. Leash, collar, tray, commands, schedule – all of this is training. We only do it at the most advanced level, professionally.
Unfortunately, you and I can now easily find millions of videos of violence against domestic animals, where someone throws someone out of a window in a bag and sets it on fire. But we never ask ourselves: “Now let’s ban all pets!”

“… In Egypt, the cheetah was a pet. In India, the elephant is now a domestic animal, but in our view it is a wild animal,” Edgard said indignantly to those who hated him.
The Zapashny brothers came to the “Will Show” not alone, but with a chimpanzee named Hermes. According to the trainers, he is a very young performer – he is only three years old, although his species lives up to 35 years. Hermes even tried himself as a co-host of a TV show, sitting in the chair of comedian Ilya Sobolev, who, by the way, gave the furry guest his jacket and shoes.
