State Duma deputy Zhanna Ryabtseva drew attention to the treatment facilities. Within the framework of the parliamentary inspection she evaluated the results of the implementation of the “Volga Improvement” project in the region. The commission visited Krasny Profintern, Bolshoye Selo, Tikhmenev and Novy Nekouz. In 2019-2020, treatment facilities were built everywhere.
– We will have to rebuild the treatment plants and spend hundreds of millions of rubles again. In total, five facilities were inspected in the Yaroslavl region, for which more than 644 million from the federal budget were spent. But it is not about reducing the volume of pollutants three times, which is why they were done, – noted Zhanna Ryabtseva.
According to the legislator, the indicators of wastewater treatment in the village of Krasny Profintern are not good. In the samples, only two out of seven indicators correspond to the norm. The rest exceeded the maximum allowed concentration and twice, ten times.
The information was discussed at a meeting of the regional Duma committee on housing and communal services. The results of the inspection were commented on by the First Deputy Minister of Housing and Communal Services of the Yaroslavl region.

– The main issue that stands out is that all the treatment facilities that have been built do not comply with the maximum permitted concentrations. All facilities are operational, except for New Nekouz. They are running around and accepting waste. There are four more objects that also do not reach the maximum permitted concentrations,” explained Alexey Korotaev.
The official said that at all eight facilities, criminal proceedings were initiated against organizations that were designers, and against organizations that were manufacturers and suppliers of equipment. It was the leaders of these organizations, the general director of Volzhskekostroy LLC, Yuri Samsonnikov, and the director of NPF Ecoservice LLC, Oleg Kuzmintsev, who were detained. The FSB reported that investigative actions aimed at obtaining evidence in criminal cases are now being carried out.
“The accused have the obligation to appear promptly when summoned by the investigation and the court, they are prohibited from communicating with the participants in the criminal process, using means of communication, including the telephone and the Internet, with the exception of calling a doctor and special staff. services, communication with the defense lawyer and the investigator,” the Yaroslavl regional court said.
