Faced with growing inflation and the crisis triggered by the situation in Ukraine, the Government of Spain took measures last December. Among these actions was the implementation of a check for 200 euros aimed at families with incomes of less than 27,000 euros and assets of less than 75,000 euros.
The aid of 200 euros dedicated to families in vulnerable situations came to an end last Friday. It is likely that many people are still waiting to receive the deposit in the bank account shown during the application process.
Although the Government’s objective was to make the payment before the municipal and regional elections on May 28, it is possible that there are some cases in which the Tax Agency has not yet made the transfer. The application period for this grant was open from February 15 to March 31. Although the deadline to receive the payment ended on June 30, many people still have not received the aid. If you find yourself in this situation, there are two ways to file a claim with the Treasury.
Check the status of the request for the check of 200 euros
Those who have not yet received the €200 grant can check the status of their application to obtain information on their current situation. There are several possible states that can appear:
“Registration”: means that the application has been sent correctly and is pending acceptance by the Tax Agency. “Return Agreement”: indicates that the Treasury has paid the subsidy in the near future.”OA”: means that the Treasury has received and accepted the request, but it is pending review and is not in the process of payment. “Baja”: indicates that the application form has not been completed correctly.
If the request has been denied, it is important to mention that the taxpayer should have received a notification in this regard and had a period of ten days in April to present an allegation. At this time, it is no longer possible to claim the aid.
To check the status of the application, it is necessary to access the portal enabled by the Tax Agency at its electronic headquarters. Once inside, you must look for the “Consult submitted applications” section and provide the DNI number and the date of validity to obtain the Cl@ve PIN. It is also possible to use the electronic certificate or the digital DNI. Then, select the option “Show requests in deregistration status” to check if the request is pending or not.
It is important to note that if the subsidy has been granted, the beneficiaries do not have to pay taxes on the aid received. However, you must include it in your Income Statement for the next year.
Two ways to claim the check of 200 euros
In the event that to date you have not received any notice or deposit in your bank account, it means that this aid has been rejected. However, you still have the possibility of challenging this resolution before the Tax Agency during the month of July. There are two ways available to claim the 200 euro subsidy: through a replacement appeal or an economic-administrative claim.
If you decide to opt for the appeal for reversal, you must optionally submit it to the office that issued the administrative act you wish to challenge. You must make it clear that you have not filed any economic-administrative claim against them. This appeal must be submitted within a period of one month.
In addition, the other option is to file an economic-administrative claim within a period of one month from the day following the notification of the contested act, or from the moment in which it is considered that the procedure or the previous reversal appeal has been dismissed. The petition must be addressed to the administrative body responsible for issuing the challengeable act. Remember that it is important to follow the established deadlines and procedures to present the corresponding resources and claim the aid of 200 euros.
