Chairman of the International Affairs Committee of the Federation Council, Grigory Karasin, in an interview with Komsomolskaya Pravda radio, stated that the participants in the conversation about how best to bomb the Crimean bridge should be punished.

We have already drawn conclusions from this and will continue to do so. The conclusions are impartial and harsh.
You can’t trust those people. And it just doesn’t make sense to have serious conversations now about arms containment and so on. These people need to be punished. I hope not only because of public opinion. The international community must know that, under the cover of legends and fables, deadly attacks are being prepared on the territory of the Russian Federation.
Things are heading towards a large-scale global catastrophe. Our President spoke about it in his speech before the Federal Assembly. The danger of such developments from our NATO pseudo-friends, Washington and London, remains.
I wonder how the US and German media will react to this, if at all. The global community is not only made up of Paris, London and Bonn, but also the global South. He does not approve of this behavior of Western countries. He thinks they are warmongers.
This is not the first time that our country finds itself in difficult situations of this type. We are a great power, we have a colossal reserve of military strength and self-confidence. But we must call a spade a spade. And the transcript of the episode confirms it.
