At the State Council in December, following the results of the Year of the Teacher and Mentor, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced an initiative on the need to spread the mentoring experience at all levels: between organizations, companies and regions. And although the thematic year has ended, the theme of mentoring remains at the forefront. The task of systematizing and disseminating best practices was assigned to the Mashuk Knowledge Center, a year-round federal educational center located in Pyatigorsk.

Today it is called “Artek for adults”: the center trains all those responsible for transmitting significant values and meanings, from officials to teachers and trainers. The mission of “Mashuka” sounds like “we teach those who teach.”

Mashuk carries out its own flagship programs and projects in partnership with federal and regional authorities, state development institutions, universities and corporate universities. The main partners of “Mashuk” are the Russian Society “Knowledge”, Rosmolodezh, the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation, Rosatom, VK, the “Movement of the First ” and many others. Program topics cover a wide range: business mentoring, education system management, patriotic youth education, parenting and pedagogy.

“Mashuk” works all year round: every few days a new program begins, in which from 50 to 300 people study at a time. During the entire period of work, representatives from all regions of Russia and more than 30 countries visited here. The Center has experience in organizing turnkey programs for individual organizations and departments, including foreign ones.

In 2024, the Knowledge Center began to grow: preparations are actively underway to expand its space, and on September 1 of this year, on behalf of the President of Russia, a methodological center for the development of the institute of knowledge will begin to operate. tutorships. The target audience is also expanding: the center recently launched the “Visit Mashuk” project in several regions of the country and is now preparing to launch joint programs with the largest Russian companies.
