The Russian team was formed following the results of the training camps of the winners of the All-Russian Chemistry Olympiad for schoolchildren.
“Russian schoolchildren performed with dignity at the Chemistry Olympiad in Zurich and replenished the treasury of Russian medals at international intellectual competitions,” emphasized Minister of Education Sergey Kravtsov. “We see that in different regions of our great country there are talented teachers who can interest their students in chemistry, provide them with knowledge and important practical skills. And their students today did everything possible to demonstrate a high level of knowledge.
Gold medals received:
Nikita Perov (Lyceum No. 131, Kazan, Republic of Tatarstan), Sergey Roslyakov (Secondary School of the Center for Pedagogical Excellence, Moscow), Vadim Kharisov (Republican Engineering Boarding School, Ufa, Republic of Bashkortostan).
All of them this year have already shown the highest class at the 57th Mendeleev International Chemistry Olympiad in Astana; they also brought three “golds”.
The silver medal went to Alexei Mikheev from Altai School No. I A. Yarkina, p. Altai.
