As the court determined, in the summer of 2021, the convicts kidnapped a man, put him in the trunk of a car and took him to the car service center of one of the defendants. They began to beat him and demand 150 thousand rubles from him. The victim called his friend, who, under threat of violence, transferred half the amount to him. The victim’s father gave the rest.
The attackers then kidnapped a man and a woman. They demanded half a million rubles. One of the kidnappers also took the woman’s phone. The victim was able to contact the police. Law enforcement officers later detained the attackers.
Two defendants were sentenced to 11 and 12 years in prison in a maximum security colony. The third convict was still a minor at the time of the crime. He was sentenced to five years in prison in a general regime colony.
The sentence did not come into force.
