Tod’s has unveiled its first advertising campaign under the direction of new creative director Matteo Tamburini. The photos were taken by Zoe Gertner. WWD writes about it.
In the Pre-Fall 2024 campaign, the brand captures “spontaneous lifestyles in an unmistakably Italian atmosphere.” As part of the Italian Stories series, Tod’s will highlight families, their homes and their stories. The first campaign is dedicated to the Businaro family, their 17th-century residence, Villa Il Palazzetto, in front of which the filming took place. Also featured were the brand’s iconic loafers, the creation of which was initiated by founder Filippo Della Valle.
Tod’s previously left the Milan Stock Exchange after L Catterton gained control of a 36% stake. We discuss this in more detail here.
