According to the Turkish authorities, companies in the tourism sector are not in danger.

A huge forest fire that started the night before is raging in Antalya’s Kemer resort region. Some 60 hectares of forest have already been completely burned. However, authorities say tourists are in no danger.
– Businesses in the tourism sector are not threatened. Our guests continue to rest in their hotels. In the path of the fire is the Kemer Municipal Hospital, which has now been evacuated to avoid any risk, Turkish Deputy Interior Minister Münin Karaoglu told reporters. – This season, as always, high humidity and intense heat. Forest fires occur constantly in different regions of the country. The terrain is very hilly and it is difficult for rescuers to work. We hope it will be controlled soon.
According to the Minister of Culture and Tourism, Mehmet Nuri Ersoy, the fire does not threaten the settlements either. No casualties have been reported.
11 planes, 22 helicopters are working on the extinction, more than 500 firefighters are involved. The temperature in Kemer at 10.30 Moscow time is 39 degrees, the wind speed is 14 km/h.
