Toyota, including Daihatsu and Hino, achieved a six-month record with 5,627,437 vehicles, up 10.3% from January-June 2022. The record was set by the number of cars produced outside of Japan: 3,525,210 cars (+4.9%). Note that the concern came out in plus thanks to the Toyota brand.
The volume of sales in the indicated period amounted to 5,419,841 (+5.5%). Here the Daihatsu brand was the driver – plus 15.1%, Toyota – plus 5.1%, but Hino spoiled the figures – minus 14.2%.
In a few days, Toyota will debut the new Land Cruiser Prado.
