Travis Scott has released a video for the song “God’s Country”, which is included on his new album “Utopia”. The rapper barely appears in the frame. He saves the first few seconds of the video, when he takes the camera from the operator and points it at the others. Hypebeast writes about it.
The musician shows the young inhabitants of the poor areas, who pronounce the verses of the song to the camera. “God’s Country” was originally created for Kanye’s Donda album. She was on the first version of the LP’s track listing.
Also, Travis Scott showed off the Utopia merchandise. The most iconic piece was the new pair of Air Force 1 made in collaboration with Nike. The collection also includes several variations of patterned T-shirts. Another interesting model was a brown leather briefcase. The title of the album is engraved on it.
Recall that along with the album, Scott released the movie Circus Maximus. The musician filmed it with Gaspard Noe, Nicolas Winding Refn and Harmony Korin. We talk about it in more detail here.
