Responding to a question about whether the drones exported abroad could be used against Turkey, Selçuk Bayraktar replied that the drones it produces are “high-tech devices that are equipped with modern software.”
It is only dominated by those who have developed the technology, he said, which “means Turkey already has a strategic alliance with the countries it sells drones to.”
Bayraktar also said that special measures have been taken regarding information security. “Now,” he added, “you know even the states are being hacked. So we’re taking special action against all this.”
The media wrote that 2018-20. Ukraine acquired Turkish TB2 Bayraktar attack drones, but since late 2021 has established its own UAV production with Turkey’s consent.
