Turner (ACS) participates in the construction of the new stadium for the Tennessee Titans

Date: July 27, 2024 Time: 10:26:49

Turner, the ACS subsidiary in the US, will participate in the construction of an American football stadium for the Tennessee Titans team. The stadium, which will be built in collaboration with a consortium of other companies selected by the team, will open in 2027.

Although the amount to be invested in the project has not yet been made public, some media in the area have indicated a cost of 2,100 million dollars (close to 2,000 million euros). This information will be specified in the final contract, which the Titans will fulfill in the coming months.

The group of companies that will carry out the works, known as the Tennessee Builders Alliance (TBA), includes several companies of great importance in the US construction market, such as Turner himself, ICF Builders, whose headquarters are located in Nashville, Polk & Associates, of Brentwood, and AECOM Hunt.

Construction will begin in 2024

Collectively, this team has more than 55 years of experience building NFL stadiums, and a long history at iconic sports venues. Furthermore, Turner and AECOM Hunt have successfully worked on 17 of the league’s 30 most recently completed stadium projects.

The new stadium will be built on the east side of the building’s current campus, along Nashville’s East Bank, and features include a circular translucent roof and exterior porches with sweeping views of the city, among others.

TBA will oversee management services for both construction and its pre-development phase of the stadium, and will select commercial contractors to work on the project. The laying of the first stone is expected for early or mid-2024, while its inauguration is scheduled for 2027.
