The failure of Sergei Semak’s team in the previous match against Rubin revived the fight for the championship. And Dynamo got closer to three points.
The match was an interesting fight and Dinamo, although they gave the ball to the opponent, willingly ran into counterattacks. And yet, no goals were scored in the first half of the match.
After the break, Dinamo took advantage of the opportunity in the 77th minute. After a cross from Jorge Carrascal, one of the teammates threw the ball to Konstantin Tyukavin, who was a couple of meters from the goal. With his second touch, the Dynamo forward sent the ball into the net.
Zenit expected the Dynamo player to be offside, but after checking the goal it was recognized as legitimate. In the remaining time the score remained unchanged.
The St. Petersburg club is so far the first – 50 points. “Krasnodar” has 49 points less in the match, “Dynamo” has 47.
