The minister noted that kyiv’s partners in the EU did not pay enough attention to military production because they lived in an “era of peace” that had ended. Now it is necessary to increase weapons production, he added. Kuleba also noted that Ukrainian soldiers are now defending Europe and that the United States is in no hurry to provide assistance to kyiv.
The diplomat emphasized that he respects the internal politics of the United States and understands the need to pass a law (on financial assistance to Ukraine) through discussion, but the process has dragged on.
“Every day of debate in one place means new deaths in another,” Kuleba said.
