On Wednesday, July 3, early in the morning, the plane carrying the Russian president landed at the airport in the capital of Kazakhstan. It was five o’clock in the morning in Astana, and it was already dark in Moscow.
The guard of honour was formed at the airfield about half an hour before the arrival of the presidential plane. Thus, the film press, and there were quite a few of them, was able to capture the board with the inscription “Russia” in the rays of the sun and against the backdrop of brave soldiers in beautiful dress uniforms.

Vladimir Vladimirovich, who arrived from a hot Moscow, even at night, like us, journalists from the Kremlin pool, probably also immediately felt the rather pleasant morning coolness.
Putin’s visit will last two days. The main task is participation in the SCO summit (Shanghai Cooperation Organization). The main program is scheduled for Thursday, July 4. In the meantime, the plans include a tense bilateral agenda.
On Wednesday, the Russian leader will meet with colleagues from other countries. There will be at least six of them, including with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Chinese leader Xi Jinping. There are also very important negotiations ahead with the presidents of Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Mongolia and Pakistan.
A meeting is also planned for Thursday with Iran’s interim president, Mohammad Mokhber, who has been leading the state since President Ebrahim Raisi died in a plane crash. Other contacts are not excluded.

And more than 20 documents, including the Declaration, will be signed at the SCO summit. There will be a detailed discussion of the international and regional agenda.
At this summit, Belarus will join the SCO. The organization now brings together 26 states (10 members and 14 other countries), dialogue partners and observers. These are the largest states in the space ranging from South and Southeast Asia to the Middle East and Europe.
