Emmy-nominated White Lotus star Sabrina Impacciatore will host the Venice Film Festival awards ceremony at Call My Agent, Italy. The key scene was filmed on the closing day of the Venice Royal Film Festival, Variety reports.
In addition, Alberto Barbera, president of the Venice Film Festival, will make a cameo in the series. In the previous season of the Italian hit, Paolo Sorrentino played Paolo Sorrentino himself.
“Call My Agent is a true declaration of love for cinema and its protagonists. It is really a pride for us to be able to film the second season at the Venice Film Festival, which is the temple of Italian cinema,” says Nils Hartmann, one of the producers of the project.
The second season will air next year. The film was produced by Sky Studios and the Italian company Palomar, directed by Luca Ribuoli and written by Lisa Nur Sultan, Federico Baccomo and Dario D’Amato.
