Yaroslav Mogilnikov, who played Yeralash in “The Boy’s Word”, turned out to be no less popular than the main actors. The young actor’s character lasted only a couple of episodes, but they were enough for the entire country to know about him.
The phrase from the television series “Let’s not forget Jumble” has become popular among people. The small role allowed Yaroslav to acquire an impressive fan base, including popular Russian designer Gosha Rubchinsky. Thanks to him, one of the most famous rappers in the world, Kanye West, even published a photo of the young actor on his social networks.
“It was unexpected for me. We met Gosha at a concert. A few days before they wrote to me that the rappers invited me to his performance and Gosha Rubchinsky wanted to give me merchandising. He also invited other guys from “The Boy’s Word”, but only me came. After the concert, the rappers and the entire audience went to Gosha’s office. See how everything happens there. There I took a photo with this merchandising, they gave it to me, I returned home and went to bed. The next morning they tell me that Kanye published this photo,” Mogilnikov said in an interview with the Macarena channel.
But such sudden fame couldn’t help but change the life of a 16-year-old boy. As Yaroslav admitted, he dropped out of school. The actor barely finished the ninth grade and thought for a long time what to do next. And while he made a decision, it was already too late to file documents anywhere.
“At some point there was a click and I realized that no, that’s it! Studying really exhausts me, I can’t study. “I realized that I get so nervous when I hear about studying that I’m not ready to continue now,” the actor said.
At the same time, in the interview, Mogilnikov could not answer basic questions from the school curriculum: to talk about the events that took place in 1812 and name the date of the baptism of Rus.
Yaroslav added that he plans to take acting classes and continue his career.
