The daughter of singer Yulia Nachalova (who died when the girl was 12 years old) and football coach Evgeniy Aldonin decided to fulfill her cherished dream and decided to enroll in a theatre institute. Vera Aldonina also considered enrolling in the music department of the Institute of Culture (her godmother Larisa Dolina works there), but opted for acting education.
As the KP.RU website found out, 17-year-old Vera Aldonina submitted documents for admission to the acting department of VGIK (Alexander Mikhailov’s workshop) and before the start of the entrance exams, based on the results of the Unified State Exam, she still had the most points among the applicants for the course – 197. The results of the Unified State Exam take into account Russian and literature. Her daughter Yulia Nachalova’s Unified State Exam in literature has 100 points, and in the Russian language – 97 points. But the main tests are ahead – from July 9 to July 25. What exams await Vera? Vera Aldonina enters the All-Russian State University of Cinematography. S.A. To get a chance to apply to the university of her dreams after receiving her certificate, Vera successfully passed three rounds of qualifying auditions from April to June. The auditions were held in person: Vera (like other applicants) independently chose, prepared and performed a vocal number, read an excerpt from prose, poetry and a fable.
Gold medalist Vera Aldonina is applying for a budget. This year, there are 32 budget places at the acting department of VGIK (in the workshop of Alexander Mikhailov, as well as in the workshop of Vera Alentova and Yulia Menshova). There are 18 places for extra-budgetary training (the cost of training is 582 thousand rubles per academic year). It is too early to say how the competition will go: applications are still being accepted.
Four months before her death, Yulia Nachalova told us in an interview: “It is difficult to say now what profession Vera will choose, but it seems to me that she has the ability and talent to become an actress. And she also continues to dream of theatre.” In a month, the results of her enrollment in the acting department of VGIK will be known.
