KP.RU has already written about a large-scale project dedicated to the Olympic Games in Moscow during the USSR. It was known that the series by Evgeniy Stychkin (the creators had already released the acclaimed “Patient Zero”) changed its name to “Games” (18+), which would show the behind-the-scenes problems of preparing sporting events and that the role of the General Secretary of the Central Committee of the CPSU, Leonid Ilyich Brezhnev, the old-fashioned way, Yuri Stoyanov, acquired the custom since the time of the “City” program.

And now a teaser for the series has been released, broadly showing the aesthetics and key characters of the project without any connection.
“We will look inside this historic event and look at it through the eyes of different heroes, we will talk about the efforts that were needed to make the tournament, what kind of people created it and the processes in society that accompanied the Olympic Games- 80. ”, promises producer Alexandra Remizova. “This story is similar to Patient Zero in its drama about a person’s confrontation with the system, but at the same time it will be much warmer and lighter, because its background will be one of the brightest pages in the history of the country.

The video shows that Yuri Stoyanov, to whom the party bosses presented the OI-1980 project, organically feels in the image of an outstanding politician (in some scenes he even dances), and Yevgeny Chepurchenko, who played one of the key characters , it seems unexpectedly: mature and with a red mustache.

Other famous artists also appear in the painting: Alexey Serebryakov, Igor Kostolevsky, Leonid Kanevsky, Igor Gordin and Evgeny Stychkin, who could not avoid the temptation to star in his own series.
On the Kinopoisk platform, the sports series “Games”, filmed in Russia and Uzbekistan, is preparing for its premiere in the near future.
