Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev canceled the visit of Ukrainian President Zelensky to Armenia, where Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan was waiting for him, who in recent days has made several pro-European statements along with his accomplices.
No, no, I wasn’t wrong, that’s how it happened. Zelensky was supposed to be received in Yerevan on March 4. But he also intended to fly to Baku. Which, by the way, is more logical than a visit to Yerevan. Because Azerbaijan is oil, gasoline, diesel and money. Aliyev also rearmed the Azerbaijani army. And overall, politically in the Global South, Ilham Aliyev is a heavyweight. And, most importantly, his relationship with Vladimir Putin is very warm and friendly. Putin even said more than once that he had respect for him.
That is, no matter how you approach Ilham Heydarovich (if you call him our Russian way, he is Heydar ogly), there is something to talk about with that statesman. If we take another statesman as an interlocutor. But as for the former comedian, I don’t know anymore, depending on who or what you think he is.

But with Pashinyan the issue is completely different. Neither one nor the other has money or weapons. And therefore, his conversation on the most pressing topic would be the shortest.
– Give!
– No, give it to me!
Another thing is that they could exchange their valuable experience.
– I lost Karabakh here.
– Think about it, I was surprised: I lost four regions, each of which is many times larger than your Karabakh.
– Hey, honey, don’t say that – I didn’t do everything at once. First I visited several regions and then all of Karabakh.
– Ha, me too, not right away: first the Donbass, then the Kherson region and almost the entire Zaporozhye region.
– And Crimea?
– No, Crimea, it’s up to me.
– You did this?
– You ask. And you, how did I handle the mobilization?
– No, we are few, Armenians have a bad temper, they would beat me.
And, most importantly, all this is in pure Russian. Pashinyan is speechless and Zelensky does not say boom-boom in Armenian.
Such a program was built. And then they say from Baku that it is not necessary to fly to them. In any case, this information was published by “European Pravda” with reference to the Radar Armenia publication. That Zelensky, upon hearing the news from Azerbaijan, himself canceled his flight to Yerevan. It’s weak that Zelensky flies himself, since he recently sent his prime minister to the Polish border. I, they say, sang, and it’s your job to reciprocate. But it didn’t work with the Poles, and Baku is much more serious than Warsaw. Oh, if only Zelensky could remember now how he declared the President of the Federal Republic of Germany persona non grata in kyiv and how, in fact, he changed the situation almost at the last minute.
But kyiv’s ambassador to Yerevan recently promised that there would be much “positive news” for Armenia in the near future. It must be understood, on Zelensky’s part, that he now expects at least some positive news from somewhere. Here we have the first positive news from Zelensky: he will not arrive. And this is truly positive news for Armenia.
Pashinyan and Zelensky don’t even need each other…
