On Friday, Zvonareva and Germany’s Laura Siegemund faced American Jennifer Brady and Brazilian Luisa Stefani in the semifinals.
In the first game, the rivals put up serious resistance to the Russian-German duo. But Zvonareva and Siegemund managed to break at the decisive moment 6:4.
In the second game, Brady and Stephanie weren’t as confident. And they did not create any serious problems for their rivals. The Russians and the Germans won 6:1.
In the final, Zvonareva and Siegemund will face Australia’s Erin Routliffe and Canada’s Gabriela Dabrowski.
