Kokushibo is a pureblood demon and one of the Kizuki Twelve, that famous elite group of the most powerful demons who are servants of Kibutsuji Muzan, but having a privileged position, he is one of the most feared.
He holds a position of authority and has outstanding strength among the demons. His swordsmanship is legendary, making him one of the most skilled and deadly swordsmen in existence. Kokushibo has a deadly combination of speed, strength and technique, making him an extremely dangerous opponent.

What further sets Kokushibo apart is his unique ability to use Moon Breath, a versatile style that enhances his demonic abilities such as the Blood Technique, as well as access to the Transparent World in Kimetsu no Yaiba.
One of his main abilities is that he is proficient in Flesh Manipulation and can transform his sword into vast and powerful forms that are difficult for demon hunters to avoid. Likewise, he can change his appearance and regenerate his sword, which makes it different in battle from other nichirin swords.
