After the amazing battle of Stars and Stripes, My Hero Academia season 7 returns to UA Academy, where the heroes are preparing for the upcoming battles. However, tension increases when the identity of the traitor operating in the shadows is revealed: Yuga Aoyama.

At a crucial moment, during the confrontation between Aoyama and the heroes in the forest, Toru Hagakure uses her Invisibility Quirk to deflect one of Aoyama’s navel laser blasts, quickly revealing her face for the first time in the series. The scene left fans with their mouths open and wanting to know what would happen after this revelation.
Meeting the face of Toru Hagakure in the seventh season of My Hero Academia was one of the most anticipated moments for fans. Although it was already hinted at in the new intro, the third episode makes a full debut shocking and full of surprises, as the Aoyama family has been working for All for One since the series’ first season. This betrayal within the UA Academy affects the group of heroes and sows doubt among its members.

Just as Aoyama tries to escape from Deku, the latter does not react quickly enough to avoid the navel laser blast. As a result of the attack, Deku is seriously injured, and the rest of the heroes are in shock. Aoyama’s betrayal not only jeopardized the safety of UA Academy, but was also a major blow to one of its most beloved members.
In an act of bravery and sacrifice, Toru Hagakure stands between Deku and Aoyama’s attack, using his invisibility quirk to refract the laser beam. This heroic act comes at a heavy price: part of her invisibility is burned off. Hagakure tearfully confronts Aoyama, asking him why he betrayed her and her comrades. Doubt and confusion overcome her as she wonders if the friendship they shared was a lie. It is a fact that the revelation of Aoyama’s betrayal hit Hagakure hard, both physically and emotionally.
Although fans were finally able to see Hagakure’s face, the circumstances couldn’t have been more painful. Without a doubt, the seventh season of My Hero Academia continues to surprise with its bright revelations.
