Date: July 27, 2024 Time: 10:06:33

There’s not much left to tie into the One Piece film adaptation, and for that reason, Netflix has decided to share a new batch of promotional images of its main characters, the Straw Hat Pirates.

Below is a set with the original five members of the Straw Hat Pirates: Monkey D. Luffy (played by Inyaki Godoy), Roronoa Zoro (played by Makenyu), Usopp (played by Jacob Gibson), Nami (played by Emily Rudd) and Sanji (played by Taz Skylar). Now we can see them being characterized as their own characters on a postcard that has already sparked all sorts of reactions among those waiting for this live-action adaptation to debut.

One Piece will premiere live on August 31, 2023 on Netflix. With a roster of eight episodes, the first season of this adaptation will follow the events of the Romance Dawn saga with a host of characters already confirmed by the cast that will be part of this series’ cast.

What do you think of the new One Piece commercials? The platform has also confirmed that this adaptation will be dubbed in Latin-Spanish, with several of the anime’s original voices resuming with their respective protagonists (with the exception of Luffy, who will be played by Iñaki Godoy himself).
