Date: May 11, 2024 Time: 08:43:13

Crunchyroll shared the first movie trailer with subtitles Suzume no Tojimari (or simply “Suzume”), which will be released in theaters in Mexico and Latin America in the spring of 2023.

The new story, presented by Makoto Shinkai and CoMix Wave Films, debuted in cinemas in Japan in November 2022 and is currently one of the top 10 highest-grossing anime films of all time.

So far, its director (Makoto Shinkai)’s only claim is that his Suzume no Tojimari will tell a modern adventure story with action elements mixed in with “what happens after the end.” This film also announced an adaptation of the novel, to be published shortly before the film’s release.

Will you see the premiere of “Suzume” in cinemas in your country? Suzume will premiere in Latin America in mid-April 2023 and will also be released in other Latin American regions such as Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Central America, Ecuador, Peru, Uruguay and Venezuela.
