The Samara team defeated the outsider of the championship in Sochi.
Krylia Sovetov won in Sochi, once again surpassed Spartak and Dynamo in the table and is only three points behind Krasnodar.
In Fisht, the RPL’s best attack ran into the worst defense. For 16 rounds, Krylya Sovetov scored the most goals in the championship – 34 goals. The Sochi team was the one that lost the most goals: 28 goals. With such statistics, one could expect a large number of scoring opportunities in the goal of Alexander Tochilin’s team, but it turned out completely different.
Pisarsky first appeared in the Krylia Sovetov base in this RPL season. The striker deserved his chance: in the last three rounds he scored three goals and spent an average of only 42 minutes per goal. However, in Sochi the ball almost never reached Vladimir. In the first half he had 11 touches and only found the ball twice in the other’s area. Krylia Sovetov players, during the attack, were in a hurry, worried and made many mistakes. The only memorable thing was Costanza’s fall in the opponent’s box on a penalty kick, but there was an obvious simulation and referee Moskalev showed the Brazilian a well-deserved yellow card.

However, Sochi did not have much to offer ahead. The hosts had a good chance to score a quick goal when Bale cleared the ball almost from the goal line after a shot from Melkadze, but that was it. When defending, the Samara team went from four defenders to five (interestingly, the best assistant of KS, Ezhov, who ranks second in assists after Promes, fell fifth in the defensive line); this is how they controlled the width against the Sochi full-backs. The few spectators in the stands were obviously bored. Before the break, the rivals each had a shot on goal, so the logical result was a goalless draw. The main event of the half was the injury: the southerners lost central defender Litvinov.
After the break, football was no longer fun. The first dangerous moment of the second half had to wait until the end of the game. But then Krylya Sovetov, who suddenly improved, came close to scoring twice. The young Saltykov could have added one more performance to his four goals scored and four assists this RPL season, but after his shot into the far bottom corner from the penalty line, goalkeeper Goilo made a beautiful save. And then the Samara team played the corner well: Costanza headed and hit the post. A very powerful segment of Igor Osinkin’s team!
Halfway through the half, the Krylia Sovetov coach renewed the attack by replacing Saltykov and Pisarsky, who were operating up front. Vladimir never scored, finishing the game with five touches in the opponent’s area and zero shots. Judging by the forward’s performance in Sochi, it is better to use him as a substitute player than as a main player. Almost immediately after the reshuffle, Osinkin’s team opened the scoring. Kramaric put Bale behind him, crossed and Ezhov made a difficult, cool and beautiful header. Also, in the next attack of the Samara team, Sochi saved another goal from the crossbar.

Only a quarter of an hour before the end, Sochi’s main creator, Noboa, appeared on the field, who was still not in optimal condition and had not appeared in the first minutes for almost two months. Tochilin sacrificed a defender in favor of an additional figure in the attacking group, while Osinkin, on the other hand, added a player to the defense. The Sochi team had a chance created by a pass from Noboa, but in added time the home team missed a counterattack and Zaika hit Shitov. The undisputed penalty was converted by Garré.

Sochi did not take a single shot on goal during the half. This is the best feature of the team’s offensive game. The southerners took another step towards the abyss.
