Brighton’s press service has announced that the club has extended the contract of midfielder Moises Caicedo.
According to the source, the 21-year-old Ecuadorian’s employment collaboration with the Premier League team is calculated until the end of the 2026/27 season.
Previously, information appeared in the media that Arsenal and Chelsea were interested in signing the midfielder, but the Seagulls management refused to sell the player in the winter transfer window. At the same time, the team is ready to sell the player for more than 85-100 million euros.
As a reminder, Caicedo has been defending the Brighton colors since February 2021. In total, he made 35 appearances for the club, scoring two goals and making three productive passes.
