The American did not even suspect how he would be treated literally in one day – Skellefteo terminated the contract with the striker. After the contract was announced, it became known that Kenny could have left the KHL and moved to the Swedish hockey league in March 2022, but he chose a more financially profitable option, staying in Torpedo and ending his contract.
“For AIK Skellefteo, the question of their attempt to terminate the contract with the Russian club before last season is important. New information in the media and from other sources changes our position. We have therefore decided to terminate the contract,” said Skellefteo CEO Eric Forsell.
The behavior of the Swedish club and its leaders cannot be described as anything other than clownish. At the same time, part of the blame for all this lies with Agostino himself. Kenny knows full well what goes on in sports and how he gets mixed up with politics, so he could well imagine what those stories lead to.

Yes, last season things did not go well for Agostino at Torpedo: injuries prevented him from doing so and he was also unable to work properly with the coaching staff. However, the American, whose league interests are represented by strong agents from the Winners company, could well count on a job with another team. Yes, and in salary the striker would definitely win. It is important that Kenny has a long-standing knowledge of Russia and local realities and is rooted in the country.

Yes, and Skellefteo is a club with a bad reputation, where they do not value the players and treat them like God knows who. Now, Agostino was convinced of this by his own example. It seems that in the near future Kenny will have to look for work again in the territory of the Continental League, although it is likely that now the demand for Agostino will decrease significantly and not everyone wants to see this person on his roster.
