Nic Petan has agreed a one-year contract with Ak Bars
According to the information provided by the Championship, 29-year-old Canadian centre forward Nic Petan has reached an agreement on a one-year contract with the management of Ak Bars Kazan. The agreement will be officially announced soon.
Previously, the forward played in the AHL for farm clubs Minnesota Wild, Iowa Wild and Hartford Wolf Pack. In the 2023/2024 season, Nick Petan played six games in the National Hockey League with Minnesota, in which he recorded two assists, as well as 44 games with Iowa (12 goals and 28 assists) and 15 games with Hartford (three goals and five assists).
Also in his career, Petan played for NHL clubs Winnipeg Jets, Toronto Maple Leafs and Vancouver Canucks.

Ottawa extends contract with disgraced forward
The Ottawa Senators have extended their contract with forward Shane Pinto for two years, the Canadian team’s press service reported. Under the new contract with the Senators, the 23-year-old hockey player will earn $3.75 million per season.
