UFC boss Dana White has spoken about former promotion champion Conor McGregor’s possible return to the octagon.
“He’s back in the hallway. She is training and yes, I hope to see Conor fight next year. Hunger and motivation are not the same. You must have a certain motivation to earn that much money. It’s hard to spend the entire summer on a yacht and then think, “Oh, I’m going to have to go back to the gym and go back to work.” Again, this is not a criticism, that’s life, especially in the world of MMA,” White said in an interview with Piers Morgan for Talk TV.
The Irish boxer has 28 fights, 22 wins and six losses. In his last two fights he lost to Dustin Poirier. McGregor hasn’t entered the octagon in more than two years. His last fight took place on July 11, 2021.
