“I would also recommend Valery Karpin to coach Inter Milan. But unfortunately, the qualifications of our players are not enough to play in Europe. You can recommend anything, but no one will go to Europe. Nobody needs our players there. If there was demand, our players would occupy the European Championship, just as our hockey players did in the NHL. Easy to say, difficult to do,” Guberniev told Sport24.

Currently, Russian clubs and the national team are suspended from international tournaments due to UEFA and FIFA sanctions.
