The program of the eighth day of the Russian Premier League ended with a match in Cherkizovo, where Lokomotiv hosted Orenburg. Railway workers are slowly coming to their senses after a not very successful start. And we went into the next game with two wins in a row. If successful, Mikhail Galaktionov’s team could catch third place Krylya Sovetov. So this time the mood of the home team was more than serious.
The first half passed with an advantage for the red and green team. But the first half of the match was remembered primarily not for the moments that arose in Nikolai Sysuev’s goal, but for the incident involving Lokomotiv striker Artyom Dzyuba. At the beginning of this season, Artyom already managed to appear twice in the feeds of news agencies on the negative side, after quarreling with journalists. But this time I couldn’t stand my nerves on the field.
In a tough duel with Artyom, the rival tore Dzyuba’s shirt. And in the next break, the Moscow striker went to the judge to try to get justice. Arthur Fedorov, who is just beginning his career as the main referee of the RPL, reacted surprisingly calmly to the emotions of the Lokomotiv striker. He did not apply any sanction, but he sent Dziuba to change his shirt.

This reaction from the judge finally shook Artyom from his precarious psychological balance. As he headed toward the bench to change into his gear, he began tearing his damaged jersey into pieces. And when Dziuba finally left the field, he seemed more like a rag that he could only throw away as unnecessary.
Fedorov did not punish the Moscow striker for his excessive display of emotions, apparently understanding the partial justice of his reaction. But the violation of the Orenburg player did not bring him a red card, even if he wanted to. Therefore, the head referee did not have the opportunity to review the episode.
This episode remained the brightest of the entire first half. Before the break, the teams could not change the score on the scoreboard and went to the locker room with absolute equality: 0-0.

The second half of the match was also uneventful for the most part. The match went smoothly towards the natural result: a goalless draw. But with just over five minutes left in regulation, Orenburg scored unexpectedly. It was not the first time in this match that the Lokomotiv defense left Ivan Basic defenseless, and this time the Bosnian managed a great shot that took Ilya Lantratov by surprise.
Now the home team had to recover. Furthermore, they had very little time to change anything. And Mikhail Galaktionov’s team was not prepared for this test. Lokomotiv failed to really bother Sysuev. But Orenburg scored again on the last counterattack of the game. This time, the unsolvable task for Lantratov was the blow of Dmitry Vorobyov.
