Today, September 16, the women’s sprint race took place within the framework of the Russian Summer Biathlon Championships.
The first place was taken by Elizaveta Kaplina, a representative of the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug-Yugra. The athlete covered the distance in 21:13.9, making a mistake. The silver medal will be received by Anastasia Goreeva from the Moscow region. She also committed a penalty and was 1.7 seconds behind the champion. In third place was the representative of the Sverdlovsk region, Irina Kazakevich. The difference between her and the leader was 7.8 seconds.
