The PFL Europe 3 mixed martial arts tournament took place in Paris. In the main event of the evening, two undefeated Frenchmen, Cedric Doumbe and Jordan Zebo, faced off in a cage to the delight of the local public.
Even though Doumbe had a modest 4-0 record entering the fight, Cedric had a colossal career in professional kickboxing behind him. Dumbe fought 83 fights there and had 75 victories. At the same time, the Frenchman was twice champion of the most prestigious organization in the world of kickboxing – Glory.
Interestingly, with a 2-0 record in professional MMA, Dumbe signed a contract with the UFC, a unique case for Dana White and his organization, but everyone simply wanted to see a fighter with so much experience in kickboxing in their leagues. The debut was to take place on September 3, 2022 at UFC Fight Night 209, but due to problems with the sanction of this fight by the French MMA Federation, as well as Cedric’s health problems, the debut was never held. just. and Doumbe was suspended from the contract.
Cedric returned to local French promotions, picking up two more wins and signing a two-year contract with the PFL. The league praised his newcomer and gave him a spot in the night’s main event at the PFL Europe 3 tournament, and Dumbe welcomed compatriot Jordan Zebo as an opponent.

It took Dumba 9 seconds to finish off Zebo in his PFL debut. The PSG players, led by Killian Mbappé, who has known the former Glory champion for a long time, came to watch Cedric’s fight.
