The thirty-year-old athlete in a short time became a real idol of those who embarked on a difficult path that glorified Arnold Schwarzenegger and many others. They called it “Joesthetics”, emphasizing the fact that bodybuilding of real masters is not only strength and power, but also the beauty of the human body. Therefore, the terrible news that came from Germany shocked everyone who admired Lindner.
His girlfriend told about the tragedy. “She died in my arms. Prior to this, Joe had been complaining for three days that she had a sore neck. But until the last moment we thought that nothing serious had happened. And then it was too late: he could no longer be helped. It all happened too fast,” she said. Immediately after that, touching joint photos appeared on her page, which the couple took a few days before Lindner’s death.

Shortly before this, Joe admitted that he seriously feared for his health. On his blog, he mentioned that he wanted to cut back on his workouts to avoid the heart problems he most feared. In a conversation with another well-known blogger, Bradley Martin, he said: “The heart is also a muscle. And I’m afraid sooner or later he won’t make it.”
However, Lindner continued to record video tutorials so as not to disappoint fans. As a result, the cause of death was the rupture of the aneurysm: the first failure was not the heart, but the aorta.

A friend of the athlete, Noel Daisel, wrote immediately after the tragedy: “I will check my phone until the end in the hope that you will still respond. We should have seen each other more than once in the gym, but now this will never happen. I can’t imagine this could happen to you.”
