The red and white era comes to an end!
Yesterday, May 18, Spartak announced the departure of the club’s former captain Georgy Dzhikia. The club will not renew the contract with the 30-year-old defender, valid until the end of May 2024. Before the match against Rubin, Georgy played only seven matches in the RPL season. But in Spartak’s last home game, Vladimir Slishkovich simply couldn’t help but let Dzhikiya start.
Of course, Georgiy entered the field wearing the captain’s armband.
