Krasnodar coach Vladimir Ivich was recognized this season as the best coach of the Russian championship. Voting was carried out based on the results of the first seven rounds. This prize was awarded for two months at once: July and August.

In addition to Ivic, Marcel Licka, Viktor Goncharenko, Igor Osinkin and Sergey Semak also competed for the award. But it was the Serb who received almost half of all votes (46.98%) and became the only leader.
Under the leadership of the coach, the Bulls showed the best start to the season in the Russian championship in the entire history of the club. In the first seven rounds, the Krasnodar team scored 17 points. The club is currently in first place in the standings. The difference with second place is three points.

Ivic has been in his post for 249 days. During this time, his team played 31 games, in which they won 18, drew seven times and lost only six times. He took over the club on January 4 of this year and in just half a season he led the team to its first participation in the Russian Cup final. He then lost to CSKA on penalties, but the passion for victory and confident combined play made fans fall in love with the coach.
This season, already with training camps complete and a clip for himself, Ivic is confidently betting on Krasnodar to win the first championship in the club’s history. At the same time, the “bulls” have only the fourth most expensive squad in the championship.

Ivic managed to make several successful and inexpensive transfers at once, which helped him form a combat-ready squad. For example, defender Lucas Olasa came to the Club from the Spanish Championship. He immediately became the main one and closed the problematic position. He is already considered one of the best left wingers in the league.
Krasnodar also bought Brazilian center back Tormena from Braga. “Spartak” was chasing him, but the “bulls” insisted on their own. They got one of the most stable defensive players in the Portuguese championship. A footballer with extensive experience in the international arena moved to Russia.

Now Spertsyan plays as a kind of “free artist” who can move to the flanks and refine the game from there.
