Karasyov sanctioned a penalty against Zenit in a match with Spartak

The main referee of the central match of the fifth round of the RPL between Spartak Moscow and Zenit St. Petersburg, Sergei Karasev, after observing the VAR, awarded a penalty against blue-white-blue.

In the 79th minute of the match, Wilmar Barrios played with his hand in his own penalty area. At first, Karasev ignored the episode, but after Vitaly Meshkov, who is in charge of VAR, asked for it, he saw it himself and changed his mind.
