Note that the MLS club won the League Cup. In the final, Inter Miami defeated Nashville in a penalty shootout (1:1, 10:9 penalties).

Lionel won his 44th trophy in his professional career. He became the most titled footballer in history, ahead of the Brazilian Dani Alves.
