Inter beat Milan in the fourth round match of the Italian Football Championship. The match ended with a 5-1 victory for the local team.
In the fifth minute, Inter midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan scored the first goal of the match. In the 38th minute, striker Marcus Thuram increased the home team’s lead.
In the 57th minute, Milan striker Rafael Leau reduced the difference on the scoreboard, but in the 69th minute Mkhitaryan restored the gap by giving the ball away.
In the 79th minute, Inter midfielder Hakan Calhanoglu converted a penalty and midfielder David Frattesi scored the final result in extra time.
Inter achieved their fourth consecutive victory and maintained their lead in the standings with 12 points. Milan is in third place with nine points.
