The PFL is one of the largest professional leagues in the world. And the heads of the organization seem to have decided to start a real revolution in the world of martial arts. They invite world-class superstars and also plan to develop in completely different directions. And the league’s main goal is to eventually eclipse the UFC. Of course, it is still too early to talk about the reality of such a possibility. But the first steps have already been taken, and quite decisive ones.

The first powerful decision was the invitation of Jake Paul, who really wants to turn the game around. For the sake of the brilliant blogger-boxer, a new division was created – Super Fight. The problem child will have several mixed martial arts fights. Fighters in this division will receive at least 50% of the PPV. Paul deliberately entered the organization with the demands of him. He not only wants to make money himself, but also give the same opportunities to his colleagues.
“It’s about changing mixed martial arts, innovating and creating a new major league,” Paul confirmed the information in a conversation with the New York Times.
In addition, Jake spoke several times about the fact that the organization could receive a qualitatively new branch. So the league is seriously thinking about creating a single division. The best representatives of mixed martial arts and boxers on the planet will perform there. It is worth noting that the result of such symbiosis may be known very soon.

The organization can consider signing a contract with Francis Ngannou as its first win over the UFC. Predator negotiated with Dana White for a long time and could not agree with him on terms. And in the end he ended up on the active PFL roster. It is true that he has not yet managed to debut in the new league, as he is busy organizing a boxing match with Tyson Fury. But one gets the feeling that this is just another step towards expanding the business. After such a fight, many professional boxers can understand that they can make money in the PFL.
