On September 6, a professional boxing tournament of RCC Boxing Promotions took place at the Traktor Arena in Chelyabinsk. The organizers arranged a top-class card, which featured many high-profile fights. Particularly exciting was the fight between Mark Urvanov and Seymur Isaev. The Azerbaijani representative remained undefeated and demonstrated his maximum skill. The Russian had a wealth of experience on his side. Therefore, there was a feeling that the fight simply had to turn out brilliant. But what ultimately happened surprised absolutely everyone.

The fight started without recognition. Urvanov decided to surprise his opponent with his activity and immediately moved forward. Apparently, Seymour was not really ready for this. He recklessly opened up and missed a powerful blow to the liver already in the fourth second… And then he found himself on his knees. The audience fell silent, but they were almost sure that Isaev would calmly get up and continue the fight. However, the referee watched as Seymour remained on the canvas. As a result, the undefeated representative of Azerbaijan unexpectedly refused to continue the fight.
Urvanov is distinguished by the highest level of work in the rack. He even trains and spars with former UFC champion Petr Yan, which demonstrates a high level of trust in Mark. But at the same time, the boxer did not previously have a particularly high percentage of knockouts. But in Chelyabinsk he clearly demonstrated how dangerous his hands can be. And most importantly, Urvanov forever inscribed his name in the history of professional boxing. Never have they been eliminated so quickly in a gentleman’s sport at a professional level.

Until then, the record was considered to be the result set on June 15, 2007 by Phil Williams and Brandon Burke. The tournament took place in the American city of St. Paul (Minnesota, USA). The opponents competed in the light heavyweight division. Then they decided to finish everything quickly, they approached almost unprepared… And Williams knocked out Burke with the first blow. But even then the fans had to wait 10 seconds. And now there are only four left. Urvanov beat the previous record by six seconds.
The uniqueness of Urvanov’s knockout is due not only to his speed, but also to the fact that he managed to crush his opponent so quickly with a blow to the liver. The fact is that most often quick finishes occurred due to the fact that the opponent was disconnected. Then you can really finish everything with one blow. However, when the liver is hit, the opponent often gets up and only on the second attempt is he knocked out. Here Urvanov’s work was so skillful that Isaev, who had never known defeat before, never found the strength to get up again.
