The boss does not specify which ones.
In these bad days for big events, the hockey space is filled with not only NHL transfer news, but also the occasional “ducks.” So, during the day, the Latvian edition of Delfi reported that Dinamo Riga did not have time to apply for participation in the national championship before the deadline. The journalists also added that the organization basically ceases to exist.
Dynamo’s chairman of the board, Juris Savickis, was quick to deny the alarming message, although the atmosphere at the club was still far from serene. “The information about Dynamo’s disappearance is not true,” Savickis said. – The club continues to exist, although we have problems, and at the moment we are discussing whether we will play in the Latvian championship next season or skip it. Everything will be known in a couple of weeks.
This isn’t the first time Savickis has faced blatant lies, and in this regard, he probably managed to build his armor. Last December, unscrupulous people rushed to publish the news of his death. Some hockey figures even managed to express their condolences. But now the journalists are clearly getting closer to the facts.
Rigans really faced difficulties after leaving the KHL. Of course, the club could not stay with the main stars. Apparently, the volume of funding has also decreased, although this has not been officially reported. Three years ago, the media claimed that the club signed a contract with the Russian “Gazprom”. It is hard to imagine that the association has survived such a drastic change in the situation.
For the Latvian national team, this year, on the contrary, is good:
The historical happiness of Latvia! He scored in extra time and left the United States without World Cup medals
Moreover, the very idea of u200bu200bthe revival of Dynamo was prepared on purpose for the KHL. In 2008, the Latvians became one of the members of the “original formation” of the league, adding to it a beautiful point on the map and cultural diversity. At the same time, 13 years before this club did not exist, in 1995 it was dissolved.
We add that last season the entire championship of the country was threatened, and not just one organization. The head of the Latvian Ice Arena Association, Eric Milyuns, said that five or six ice hockey arenas could close in the country by the fall. The reason is that the prices of electricity and gas have tripled. Judging by the fact that there were no such signs from anyone else, this issue was resolved in the Baltics.
The Finns, unlike Latvia, left the World Cup early:
The Finns failed at the local hockey world championship! The favorites looked pathetic against Canada
Dynamo evidence links him to another former KHL member. Jokerit faced difficulties even earlier. After leaving the league, the “Jesters” did not play a single game. Before the previous season, they were not returned to the Finnish domestic championship because they opened a legal investigation to establish links with Russia in detail. Jokerit also did not participate in this year’s tournament.
