The formerly famous athlete, who went to live permanently in Spain, said that the military ranks received during her performances for CSKA were nominal.
Yelena Isinbayeva is a two-time Olympic champion, a three-time world champion and a 28-time pole vault world record holder. Her world record (5.06 m), set in 2009, has not been broken so far.
