The last quarter-finals of the Eurocup playoffs delighted the players with two important matches, but brought mixed results to the section. Some experts call this match a hidden Euro final. Spain and Germany are really good, the odds of victory are almost equal. But can the chances of reaching 1/2 really be considered 50/50?
I think Spain is the favourite in the match. Taking a pure P1 is risky, but F1 (0) for 1.87 with a possible return in case of a draw in regulation time suits me quite well.
Spain is the only team in the tournament to have won all four of its previous matches. Goalkeeper Simon missed just once, due to an own goal. The attack is also in perfect order: plenty of chances and an average of 2.25 goals scored per game.

De la Fuente’s line-up is as balanced as possible. Rodri is the best defensive midfielder in the world, in the centre he is supported by the masters of passing and movement Ruiz and Pedri, on the attacking flanks the masters of quick dribbling Yamal and Williams, and in attack Morata works for the team.
My personal sympathies lie with Spain, which has finally moved away from useless tiki-taka towards a more effective style of football. The Germans drew with Switzerland and only thanks to the millimetres did they gain the lead over Denmark twice in a few minutes: first, the referee disallowed Andersen’s goal and then awarded a penalty for his own handball.
Germany’s only chance is through individual actions by the players in the attacking group with speed. If Spain solves this problem by means of tension and minor fouls, at least extra time for De la Fuente is guaranteed.

Match: Portugal-France.
Tender: F2 (0) for 1.63.
Addition: 5000 chips (possible profit – 3150 chips).
Portugal and France continue to produce results without the most spectacular and pragmatic game. Deschamps’ team has obvious problems with implementation. Two own goals and a converted penalty were all that the star attack with Mbappé and Griezmann achieved.
Portugal’s main problem is Ronaldo. Coach Martinez is sitting on a powder keg and is forced to put a legend in the lineup. In response, Krish misses free kicks, slows down attacks, creates imbalance and does not even score from the penalty spot in extra time of the match against Slovenia.
Deschamps’ difficulties seem more solvable than his counterpart’s. So, for the second time in a day, I’m going for 1.63 and taking a zero handicap to France. I can’t imagine Martinez benching Ronaldo or Krish suddenly ceasing to be the most selfish footballer on the planet.

France has more tactical options and a fantastic rotation. Yes, even if the shots do not turn into goals, the chances created by Mbappé and Griezmann are of a good quality. Somewhere, the bad luck in execution is compensated by own goals.
Portugal itself cannot score in two consecutive games, although the only opponents were Georgia and Slovenia. France kept a clean sheet against Belgium and the Netherlands, countries with higher status. Therefore, I expect a minimum victory for Deschamps’ team or extra time.
