The athlete Evgenia Solovieva was banned for three years and six months for violating anti-doping rules. This was reported by the press service of the independent body to combat negative phenomena in athletics (AIU).
According to the source, the 37-year-old athlete’s punishment began on August 10, 2023 and will end on February 9, 2027. In the fall of 2012, a prohibited substance, dehydrochloromethyltestosterone, was found in Evgenia’s sample. According to the results of the investigation, from that date until February 21, 2013, all the achievements of the Russian woman were invalidated.
