Alexander Koksharov scored three points using the “goal plus pass” system.

The Russian youth team played a friendly match with their Belarusian teammates. The match was played at the Central Stadium in Gomel.

In the summer of 2023, the Russian team suffered a painful defeat and the Belarusian team became its offender. Ivan Shabarov’s team lost with a humiliating score of 1:5. Yes, the match was controlled, but there was an unpleasant aftertaste. It must be said that since that moment the composition of the Russian youth team has undergone important changes. Of those who were then in the starting eleven, only Daniil Zorin appeared this time.

By the way, this 19-year-old midfielder is well known in Belarus. Because? The fact is that the Spartak player is spending this season on loan at Dynamo Minsk. And he does it very well. In nine games for the club, Daniil accumulated excellent statistics: six goals and two assists. And in October, fans recognized Zorin as the best player on the Minsk team.

The first half passed with an overwhelming advantage for our youth team. The Russian players created chances with enviable regularity and the opponent’s defense looked rather mediocre. The only scary thing was the execution of Shabarov’s team: the ball passed the goal again and again. Zorin shot over the far post after a brilliant backheel pass, Alexander Koksharov missed an empty corner from the goal line, Dmitry Kuchugura launched the ball from a set piece near the post.

A couple of times Belarusian goalkeeper Artyom Karatay came into play and rejected dangerous shots. I was glad that the danger came from different Russian footballers. The goal had to wait until the last minute of the first half. Igor Dmitriev made such a pass to Koksharov that he simply could not miss. The Krasnodar striker calmly sent the ball into the net from a couple of meters, after which he dropped face down and rolled across the Gomel grass.

After the break the goals were more fun. First, Koksharov escaped from the Belarusian defenders and launched the ball over the goalkeeper. This goal was largely achieved by Kuchugura, who made a brilliant pass to his compatriot.

Two minutes later the boys changed roles. Koksharov put Kuchuguru in an attacking position and Dmitry put the ball into the far corner. It is true that there were some problems. After the goal, Kuchugura left the field because he was injured.

During the match there was a feeling that the teams were on completely different levels. The Russians played much faster, exerted powerful pressure, and the opponent actually watched football. But in the end, Shabarov’s team created its own problems. Ilya Kirsh lost his balance in his own area and brought down Rodion Pechur for a penalty. Artyom Shumansky calmly moved the ball and the goalkeeper at different angles.

A couple of minutes later, Shumansky threw the ball over goalkeeper Bogdan Moskvichev, after which it fell to the grass. Penalty fee? The referee did not award a penalty for the second time. Numerous replays showed that the striker fell because of himself. By the way, the Belarusian team of referees, headed by Anton Leshuk, worked in the match.

At the end of the games the Belarusian boys were much more active than before. The last minutes of the match presented a double-edged game, but the score on the scoreboard did not change again. The Russian youth team avenged the humiliating defeat, although it won less convincingly than its rival.

In October, our young people traveled to Brazil:

The match between the Russian youth team and the top Brazilian club ended with a hard blow to our player
