Former NBA player Swedish forward Jonas Jerebko has admitted he regrets the deal with Russian CSKA in 2022.
“I haven’t played for almost a year and a half. I had no other suggestion. I received an offer from CSKA and I took advantage of it. Back then I only thought about basketball, but in the end it turned out differently. Now I regret it. If I could go back in time, I wouldn’t have done it,” Yerebko is quoted as saying by Reuters.
Yerebko has been suspended from playing for the national team in the upcoming World Cup.
